Discuss this article on the forums. (0 posts) I wish to extend my appreciation to Carole for the information that she has kindly provided that has allowed some 30 additional Raynham names to be added to the Tree.
After nearly 5 years of exchanging information and data a connection has been made with Carole Leech and her family and the Raynham Tree. Carole, who lives in Norfolk, England has been researching her mother's Raynham line and had successfully located her 3 x great grandparents John and Sarah Raynham nee Hinds. They had children at Semer, Suffolk but the link to the Tree was confirmed when John's parent's were assessed as being Thomas (R44) and Mary Raynham nee Steed. Thomas was born around 1724 and lived in Chelsworth, Suffolk.
Another bonus for us was the link to the Tree of Rev. Charles Thomas Raynham (1859-1948) who was born at Badwell Ash, Suffolk, England, however his family today has not been located but we know that his son Hugh followed him into the church. The Rev. Charles great grandparents were the same John and Sarah Raynham above.
