Type relates to events, places, documents etc. Leave blank in the Type box and receive all data relating to a name. Enter specific area of research, e.g. census, name of document (will, WW1) or event (baptism), and receive data relating to that type. On noting the content you may refine your search again, e.g. census can be refined to census 41 or census 81 or census 1901.
